How does Niobium Silicide Ni2 Powder get made?
As raw materials for the graphite furnace, niobium (silicon) and silicon (titanium) are broken down and mixed together. Heating the furnace takes place gradually. Once the furnace reaches 1000 degrees Celsius, the metal will react. Then hydrogen is added to raise the temperature to 1400 to 1900. The reduction furnace can be used to melt silicon metal or niobium peroxide for up to 30 minutes.
